It had been way too long since seeing Carol in Iron Mountain (again). We planned a trip in October and crossed our fingers that we would see some good fall color.
As always, before heading north, we needed to take Coby to his grandparent’s for the weekend. We also took the time to do a little painting. Eventually, we will need to paint the whole cabin; but for now the front looks so much better!
Then it was off to the UP.
It was great to hang out with Carol and her fiancé Paul. After a great dinner at the Chippewa, we went in search of fall colors!
On our way back to Hatfield, we made a stop at the HighView in Medford (aka…Palm’s North). I’m so sad that we took no photos, but was was so great to see Terry and Julie.
The next day, we decide to chase even more fall colors. For that, we went to our favorite place in Clark County, Wildcat Mound.
